I've sold a few tins of Black Night over the years but they seldom appear as production was ended many moons ago. It is a standard sort of Latakia/Virginia/Burley with the predominant Burley & Virginia leaf displaying a good pedigree. The contents of the tin that I smoked from was at least 25 years old and the Latakia was barely there and had given way to a nice and rich Virginia forward smoke. Nice and creamy presentation that I rather enjoyed. Not a strong blend, but no toddler either.

Old tin from the 60s or 70s. I love these aged English blends. Hard to say what it tasted like fresh, but maybe someone remembers.
