Bufflehead Common Teal
(4.00)
An uncommonly rich and full English mixture. A mixture which contains an ample amount of premium Latakia. Aged for smoothness. Fragrant with Orientals and lightly sweetened and enlivened by a bit of matured Virginia. Full English.

Common Teal was one of the last blends produced by Bufflehead before they closed up shop in 2005, so, it is difficult to find as it only had one run. Rich and full in the Latakia department with the Virginia leaf offering its musical notes softly in the background. The Oriental notes told me the spice was added to offset what otherwise would have been an overwhelming blast of Latakia with each puff. What captivated me most was the rich, full flavor of the Latakia that provided huge volumes of smoke. Thoroughly enjoyable.
