A rich black cavendish uniquely flavored with vanilla. Very mild with a wonderfully sweet aroma.

The sugary, lightly toasty black cavendish is mostly covered over by the vanilla, which sports a little richness, and a hint of creaminess. I think some caramel or perhaps honey is very lightly applied to the mix. Hardly has any nicotine. Won’t bite or get harsh. Needs some dry time, and burns cool, clean, and a little slow with a very consistent flavor. Needs some relights, and leaves some moisture in the bowl. Has a pleasant, short lived after taste. An all day smoke that also makes a good mixer.

With Pipe and Book - Old Guide's Mix.
I have a bit of a soft spot for a good vanilla aromatic. That could be the review!
The jet black mixture's too moist upon arrival, it has to have a good airing period. The casing comes across clear from the pouch, implying a rich vanilla smoke's coming up.
The smoke has an extremely relaxing character. Lots of vanilla, sticky Black Cavendish, and a temperature that's below cool! As well as the vanilla, there seems to be an extra sweetness, maybe from honey. Other than those points there's not much more to say; it's a simple smoke. Tongue bite? None, whatsoever.
Nicotine: very mild. Room-note: lovely.
This is what I call a good vanilla aromatic. Highly recommended:
Four stars.
