Has a bit of vanilla and a touch of honey with very little tobacco taste. Can cause tongue bite, if you puff beyond a moderate rate. Has almost no nicotine. Burns moderately well, and leaves a little moisture in the bowl. Needs a few relights as it burns a little wet. The flavor fairly much holds to the finish, but gets a little syrupy near the closing. Has an okay after taste, and is an all day smoke.
This was my last stop after smoking TB jar-blends for years. I can't say that I can get past the unburnt aroma nowadays, but it was cool and not as bitter or cloying as Wilshire/1Q, Sunset, Black Russian, Nouget, Amaretto, North Sea, and whatever TB called its coffee-flavored blend.
Skilling is about Vanilla but be aware: it will never, ever leave a pipe after a couple of bowls.
I smoked this as a young man getting into pipes, and remember enjoying it. Then again, I mostly smoked pipes back then to look "cool," and I'm not sure what I'd think of it now.
