It smells good and it actually has really good flavor but that is about all can say good about this blend.
Very hot and moist smoke. I've smoked this in three different pipes and after about a 1/4 of the way through there is this intense chemical burn/taste that lights my tongue on fire!
Just for that, I would not recommend it.
But if your mouth isn't sensitive like mine, you may want to give it a shot.

I have to admit to liking this favored tobacco more than I had expected to.
The tobacco is a ribbon cut, mostly burley. The pouch aroma is of a sharp berry nature, almost no tobacco aroma comes through.
While smoking, the berry aroma is predominate, but yet the taste of the burley is still there in the background. The berry flavoring is both clean and sharp, not overly flowerly or soapy tasting.
I can't imagine smoking this on a regular basis, but I have enjoyed this as a very occassional change of pace. If you are into these sorts of tobaccos, you would probably enjoy it very much.
Will I replace the pouch when it is finished someday. Perhaps, although I doubt I will be in any hurry about it.

I purchased a 1.5 oz. bag of this from my local tobacco shop almost a year ago. My initial reaction was that the tobacco was way too moist, burned very hot and had a tremendous tendency to bite.
I picked up the pouch (which is not sealed other than having the flap folded over and taped) a couple of weeks ago and the moisture is still a little excessive but is now manageable.
The pouch aroma is fruity/nutty. The appearance is mostly tan with a little medium brown thrown in. Predominately burley IMO.
This is not overly cased, and the tobacco flavors do show through. On first light, a sweetish nutty flavor (not natural as far as I know) dominates. As the bowl burns, it developes a smokey/spicy flavor but still sweet.
The smoke itself is fairly consistent throughout. And is quite similar to the pouch aroma. Typical public reactions to an aromatic.
This blend needs a few more relights than I tend to tolerate. It takes some "fiddling" to get it to burn evenly, and there is always some dottle left at the bottom of the bowl (though after aging on the closet shelf it's not excessively goopy).
I would recommend this to those who love sweet aromatics, and know how to manage the moisture/bite present with most of this genre.
I will finish this pouch on my evening walks over the next few months and will probably not replace it. However if I do purchase more in the future, I will throw it in the closet for a year or so before I load a pipe full again.
FEB03 Update: Came across this pouch again (it's been 5-6 months) and decided to try it once more. I should have re-read my review to remember why I laid it aside in the first place. The humectants used on this blend are the best by far, someone should figure a way to use them in moisturizer cream. Mabey this is what Sen. Kerry uses on his forhead these days.
