Moist, black, fire cured Cavendish is joined with bright Virginia tobacco to reduce wetness in the bowl and soften the blend. The unique contrast of black with gold is enhanced by the rich taste of vanilla.

The grassy, citrusy Virginia is fairly sublimated as is the sugary black cavendish. The vanilla topping is the star. Barely has any nicotine. Won’t bite, but can get warm on the tongue if puffed fast. Burns clean at a reasonable pace with a consistent, though routine flavor. Leaves a little moisture in the bowl, and needs an average number of relights. Has an okay after taste. Can be an all day smoke. Two and a half stars.

This particular tobacco is close to Dunhill Night Cap with comparison. It’s not as strong as NC but still a great smoke! If you’re in DC, stop by and check them out!

I am not an aromatic smoker, usually, but every once in a while, I like a rich, sweet smoke that's goo for the cold weather, and to give my aromatic pipes a workout. I was given this by a good friend who is primarily an English smoker. We never give each other cheap aromatics so I thought it odd. I first put it in a Missouri Meerschaum cherrywood hoping not to ruin one of my pipes, but trying to be polite. What a surprise! It is a simple tobacco, vanilla and coffee notes prevailing, but so well constructed. This isn't complex or complicated but it burns very coolly, evenly, and, as mentioned before, quickly. Big billows of smoke, sweet without being saccharine, no chemical taste. It is a perfect blend for walking in the woods, when you attention is focused elsewhere but you want to enhance the experience with something easy and warm between your teeth. No bite that I noticed is native to the tobacco, but as with any blend, if you burn it hot it bites--still without the acrid taste that I normally associate with hot-burning aromatic blends. In short, I don't know what they do differently than Lane or Sutliff or any of the big-name aromatic brands, but whatever it is, I say congratulations. A delicious aromatic in a world of immature blending.

This is one of the best tobacconists in America. The service is top notch and the atmosphere is extremely inviting. In addition to that ,their house blends are very unique. I love Aromatics. This is a VERY DIFFERENT Vanilla based aromatic. The black cavendish is bone dry and pleasantly cased. They add a square cut yellow Virginia to this which adds an entirely new dimension to the blend. It is sweet and flavorful. The difference is you can actually taste the Virginia and the Vanilla cavendish at the same time. If you are a fan Of P&W or Rich's Aromatics you will thoroughly enjoy this. Never a gurgle or even hint of a bite. All aromatic smokers should try this. This is also a good change of pace for Vanilla cased Virgina Flake or VAPER smokers. A solid 4 aromatic stars!

This bulk blend that is available via the net is mostly black cavendish with a fair dose of yellow VAs and a vanilla aromatic casing. I found this one dryer than other black cavendishes both as received and during the smoke and it smoked without any bite and relatively cool for an aromatic and although sweet, not sickening so. It burned evenly but much faster than my normal VA flakes. The rich smoke also lacked the nicotine punch that I prefer but was still OK. Guess this is just another example of why I don't typically choose aromatics, but if you like them, I think you might enjoy this blend.
