Another JFH blend by the great Bob Shafer. Hints of vanilla and nuts. Ribbon cut tobacco.Blend has a nice room note. Cavendish blend aromatic should appeal to the beginner and the seasoned pipe smoker alike.

I'm new to pipes, but this is my favorite. It smells great (like currants?) in the bag, packs and lights easily (even for a newbie like me), and it's the first (along with JFH's Yule Log) tobacco I've tried that didn't taste like chemicals or plastic (unlike Captain Black White and Lane 1-Q). This is the sort of tobacco that will keep me into pipes: not overpowering or off-putting in taste or buzz (like I said, I'm a newbie) and easy to pack and keep lit (this is the first tobacco I've been able to keep lit almost the entire bowl).

This Bob Schafer concoction is one of the best aromatic bulks you'll find. Very unique flavor without being overpowering. An all day smoke that really delivers when it comes to flavor. Unlike blends such as 1-Q, this blend doesn't deliver a mouth full of steam. You won't regret buying it.

I'm a big fan of JFH...I haven't found a blend there yet that I don't like, and they are all about the customer! This blend is no exception, it's a good, anytime of the day, not-too-sweet aromatic that you can just load up, light up, and enjoy. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed!

This is a pleasant and mild aromatic that somewhat lacks any pronounced flavor other than what the black Cavendish base provides. It's one of those you wouldn't have to put a lot of thought into smoking. Packs and lights well, stays lit easy enough but will leave a lot of moisture in your pipe.

=UPDATE=

Because the recent unavailability of some of the Lane Ltd produced components used in this blend, the blend was changed to include substitute components and thus the flavor was significantly altered. Although smokable, it isn't the blend that it once was. Reduced to two stars.

A mild aromatic consisting of 4 different tobaccos with predominantly a black Cavendish base. The end result is a relatively bite free blend which produces a large volume of creamy smoke. The flavor is mildly sweet, aromatic and unique. Developed by Clark Reed, a Just For Him customer, who required a mild aromatic smoke that he could smoke all day, every day while working outdoors. Of course, Bob Schafer had a hand in the creation of this blend, so you know it's a good one.
