W.O. Larsen Smooth & Tasty
(2.00)
Creating a truly smooth, yet tasty and well balanced blend is a skill that only a few tobacco blenders master. In combining five generations of experience with present tasting expertise we have come a long way. The balance between black cavendish, tasty Virginia and a touch of smooth burleys is eminent. The extra fermentation process with only the finest flavours means that the product meets my criteria of "smooth and tasty".

This is my first review.
Unfortunately here in Australia we have a very poor selection of tobaccos compared to the US or Europe and tobacconists are few and far between. The price of tobacco is also prohibitive(AUD30 per 50g) so you rely heavily on web sites such as this and from the recommendations of others.
Ive tried a few tobacconist blends and several recommended commercial tobaccos, and I have to say that so far, Smooth and Tasty is on the money. Very little bite, a little wet, good taste, great room note and a wonderful aftertaste. But it is an aromatic and not big on nicotine but nice on a cold night in front of the camp fire.

It certainly has a chocolate flavor. However it has a strange taste that I found un-pleasant, so I can't recommend it.

I only had a couple of bowls of this, offered by Mr Bollito (Torino's best tobacconist).
After a couple of minutes from the charring light, a nice chocolatey and nutty flavor emerges. This lasts for a while then dies towards the end (typical for aromatics).
This is not a sticky aromatic, it's quite delicate and tolerable even to those who don't like heavily cased stuff. If you enjoy this, try also Simply Unique from the same brand.
Certainly better than the modern incarnations of the Amphora line.
