I purchased this from Pipes and Cigars and is listed as "Blending - White Burley is a solid, fundamental tobacco. It's slow burning, so it can be used to tame a hot blend and the flavor is rather neutral, somewhat reminiscent of walnut or pecan with hints of cocoa. It's useful in blends that seem to be a little too strong flavor-wise, as it can soften the taste of the tobacco. It's also a good choice to smoke straight when you want something that's mellow and stays fairly cool." I exchanged some emails and further found out this product comes from Sutliff and is cataloged as TS6 White Burley. I tried to add this tobacco to the tobacco reviews Sutliff portfolio, but it was rejected. I assume it is because there are "versions" of this elsewhere, this is the closest match I could find.
Jar note of mild cocoa, mildly sour, and earthy. Tobacco is a medium short ribbon cut, and a mix of light, medium and dark browns. Tobacco is wet and will need a bit of drying. Burns slow with a few extra relights. The strength is mild to medium and nic is mild to medium. No flavoring detected. Taste is mild to medium and fairly consistent, with notes of wood, dry earth, mild cocoa, vegetation, mild spicy, mildly bready, a nutty background note, and a moderately spicy retro. Room note is pleasant to tolerable, and aftertaste is great.
