this mixture of Virginia, Maryland, Burley and flavoury Carolina is blended with Turkish and Latakia to give this tobacco a true classic British taste. It is the ideal tobacco for the passionate pipesmoker.
One of my favorite tobaccos. The Virginia and the other tobaccos are neither too sweet nor too strong. And the Syrian Latakia has this wonderful incense-like aroma but is very soft on the palate. A well crafted and very well balanced blend which is never boring. Four Stars.
A fine English, but nothing else. It's well balanced, spicy and enjoyable, but similar to Ashton Type I, being the latter half a step above in my taste bud-dy list. Given that, I can't give this more than two stars.
Very pleasant mild English, not a lat bomb but complex enough to spend an afternoon. If you like mild English mixture this is for you. Smoked aged 5 years
This is a very nice and rounded English blend. Burns like magic and goes along greatly with Frank method. Cool, sweet, Smokey and mild. Very happy with this. Try it if you're into mild Englishes.
