A Latakia mixture that has a good portion of Latakia and more Virginia than Oriental. Full bodied and could be smoked all day, the Perique completes this tobacco very nicely.

Baker Street is one of Blatter & Blatter bulk home blends. Being an Oriental blend, it consists mostly of Vas, Périque and Orientals. I don't recall seeing any Latakia in this blend, but my memory could fail me. If any, it wasn't a lot. After all, I've had it about 10 years ago, but I remember having bought 3 or 4 50 gr pouches of it.

The aroma of the tobacco is all natural, there is no casing added ; and the cut is long and wide, all loose leaves. The filling of the pipe was easy, the lighting easy and it smoked well, not requiring constant attention.

The Périque was most certainly present, causing a little numbing of the tongue, but no bite. It grew stronger past mid-bowl, but the flavors mixed well together. Tastes...different.

This is honest, good quality tobacco. You want to give it a try.

Good English Mixture, coarse cut, slow burning. The perique is well balanced and adds an extra zest to the experience.

A good dose of Vitamin N as well, I really enjoyed this tobacco.
