The bright, orange and red Virginias provide a fair amount of tart and tangy citrus, bread, grass, sugar, floralness, some spice, earth, wood, mild tangy dried darker fruit along with a small touch of acidity and smoke. The apricot, fig, and blackcurrant casings very mildly tone down the Virginias. The strength and taste levels are medium. The nic-hit is a step behind them. Won’t bite or get harsh. Has a few very light rough edges. Burns cool and clean at a reasonable rate with a very consistent fruity, mildly floral, spicy, lightly savory flavor that extends to the moderately lingering, pleasant after taste. The room note is a tad stronger. Barely leaves any dampness in the bowl, and requires an average number of relights. Can be an all day smoke. Three and a half stars.
