Tin note is fermented, woody, green tea, ginger and spices, berries... sensational!

Medium cut ribbons, golden and bright brown color.

Taste: Sweet, lemony, somewhat grassy, floral, fennel, spices like nutmeg, coriander, oregano and thyme. There are some hints of cocoa sometimes, but they go away

It burns ok, but somewhat hot.

Complex in flavors but mild taste. No flavoring.

Really good stuff. Sweet, floral and just a bit spicy, this is best smoked in a large bowl, like that of 320KS from Savinelli. It’s quite smooth on the tongue.

Note: Not to be confused with Original Oriental from Robert McConnell. This is Original Orient not Original Orient[al]. The other one is blended, this one is for blending.

I smoked this tobacco long time ago and I liked it. It didn't have any particular predominant flavours or aromas, all constituent tobacco strains being well-married and pretty harmonious. I remember I was pleased by its aroma which was redolent of a fruit garden in late autumn, where nice scents of fallen leaves and apples fermenting on the ground intermingle. Very light, sourish, aromatic tobacco. Maybe, slightly sharpish round the edges, which Orientals often are. For me, it used to be a nice introduction into pure Orientals. I think it was a bit underwhelming as a standalone smoke, still I somewhat recommend it for educational purposes.
