This maduro cigar blend offers a lot of earth, wood, smoke, peaty vegetation, floralness, toast, some spice, creamy sugar, fairly mild tangy citrus, cocoa, light coffee, dark fruit, and a touch of molasses. You definitely know you are smoking cigar leaf. The strength and taste levels just reach the medium mark. The nic-hit is a step behind them. No chance of bite or harshness. Burns cool and clean at a moderate pace with a very consistent, mildly complex flavor that extends to the short lived, pleasant after taste. The room note is pungent. Barely leaves any dampness in the bowl, and requires an average number of relights. Works well as a blender and on its own. Not an all day smoke. Three stars.

Jar note of dry vegetive, slightly musty citrus, and very earthy. The dark brown ribbon tobacco is on the dry side, no prep needed. Burns average with few relights. The strength is medium and nic is mild to medium. No flavoring detected. Taste is medium and consistent, with complex notes of mildly sweet, very rich earth, dry oaky, mildly nutty, spicy, strong cigar, mild bitter cocoa, a creamy smooth background note, and a very peppery retro. Room note is tolerable to strong, and aftertaste is great.
