Pipe Republic Pink Villa

(4.00)
A rich Black Cavendish loose cut is complemented with aromas of blueberries. In addition, a good 30% full-flavored, smoky Latakia which gives this tobacco its special note. Difficult to classify taste, it oscillates between fruity sweetness and smoky roasted aroma. Clean burn, little moisture, both with and without filter a pleasure. A tobacco that can not really be forced into any category, so be sure to try!

After opening the tin, the connoisseur is greeted by a deep black tobacco image and a fruity-smoky scent. Perhaps the tobacco may first ventilate a little. In the pipe, the Pink Villa behaves absolutely good-natured - the Loose Cut burns without much attention slowly and after venting also quite dry. In contrast to the scent from the can, I taste when smoking first the fruit notes, then more and more the Latakia, without the latter once takes the upper hand. Whether the aroma is limited to the described blueberry remains questionable or is falsified by the pleasant smokiness. I believe to sense something of raspberry. Overall, sweetness and woody smokiness harmonize wonderfully, with a depth that opens up especially in meerschaum pipes or larger heads. Nicotine holds back absolutely, also the room note is pleasant and virtually does not suggest the Latakia. It is also noteworthy that the flavoring persists until the end of the smoke and does not tend in a bitter, sour or flat direction. For aromatic smokers this is a good opportunity to take a first step towards the English blends and for Latakia connoisseurs this is a refreshing variety. Of course, friends of the Clans of Scotland from HU Tobacco also get their money's worth.
