Pipe Republic Broadstairs
(4.00)
This classic English blend is named after the small town of Broadstairs in the southeast of England. An insider tip of connoisseurs just like our tobacco blend Pipe Republic Broadstairs.
The blend consists of 40% Latakia and 10% Kentucky tobaccos, which is complemented by Commonwealth Virginia. To give the blend its full flavor Oriental tobacco and a small amount of Perique was added.
We recommend this blend to experienced pipe smokers who prefer aromatic and strong tobaccos.

The Broadstairs is quite unimpressive at first. But the cold smell reveals a complexity of aromas that makes you want more. Mossy smokiness, some bread, floral-ethereal notes - memories of a walk in the woods in spring? The loose cut has optimal moisture. In the smoke, the aroma from the cold smell spreads out again. Bready notes and especially the ethereal aromas are present, joined by spice and the mossy smokiness. The high Latakia share, as well as the Kentucky I would not have suspected. The Perique still brings in sour notes. The Broadstairs is completely convincing and more than lives up to the description "insider tip for connoisseurs".
