This is my first cigar leaf blend, so I may update this review in the future. Being that there is no review yet, I will offer my opinion.
I've long enjoyed English blends, they've been my favorite since I took up pipe smoking 10 years ago. This is a quality English blend with a complementary dose of cigar leaf. The smoke is characteristically English, but the cigar leaf comes through and elevates it to something a little more robust. HU does not skimp on quality, all the tobaccos are of superior quality.
The room note is surprisingly pleasant considering it contains cigar leaf. I don't have a basis of comparison to other cigar leaf blends, but I can say that this is a fantastic English blend and a good choice for anyone curious about cigar leaf blends.
