The very nutty, earthy, woody, bready sweet burley is the lead component by a small margin. The Virginia provides some tart and tangy citrus, grass, bread, sugar, mild floralness, spice, and a touch of acidity as a strong supporting player. The creamy sweet black cavendish is a supporting player. The rich amaretto and toasted nuts toppings moderately tone down the tobaccos. The typical Danish spice notes come from how the tobacco is produced. The strength and nic-hit are a step short of the medium mark. The taste is medium. Won’t get harsh or bite, but the tingly spice content suggests a slower puffing cadence. Has a few small rough edges. Burns clean and slightly warm at a reasonable rate with a very consistent nutty, sweet, spicy, mildly floral flavor that extends to the pleasantly lingering after taste. The room note is very pleasant. Doesn’t leave much dampness in the bowl, and requires an average number of relights. Can be an all day smoke. Three and a half stars.
