Update: Jimlnks says this is LBF, so that's all the proof I need. I stand corrected. But the process that KBV does makes it a winner in book.

When you open the pouch you are greeted with the smell of sweetness. Raisins and fresh bread. Flakes are ready to smoke. What works best for me is to just fold and stuff. Easy to light. Very smooth. Some say it just LBF. But I say it not. It's next level. What ever KBV has done it perfect. I can't stop smoking it.

This is Peter Stokkebye’s Luxury Bullseye Flake heat treated to spur fermentation and age. Having smoked aged LBF, I find this similar to that although this is smoother, lightly sweeter, a tad less spicy, and a couple of steps less strong. The Virginias provide plenty of tart and very tangy citrus, bread, grass, vegetation, wood, sugar, some earth, mild floralness, and light darker fruit. They are the lead components. The perique offers plenty of sugary stewed fruit (raisins, dates, figs), earth and wood as a supporting player. The sugary vanilla note from the black cavendish is still noticeable. The strength and nic-hit are in the center of mild to medium. The taste is a two slots short of the medium threshold. No chance of bite or harshness, and barely has a rough edge. Burns cool, clean, and a tad slow with a very consistent, fermented, fruity, sweet, spicy flavor that extends to the short lived, pleasant lingering after taste. Barely leaves any dampness in the bowl, and requires an average number of relights. An all day smoke. Three stars.

It may just be that I have no properly aged LBF to compare it to. So, take this with a grain of salt, but... at the time of this writing...

RAVEN EYE FLAKE is simply the best spun-cut VaPer I've tasted yet.
