Ken Byron Ventures Mr. Christian’s North Pole
(3.00)
Mr. Christian’s North Pole is a remix of Sutliff North Pole Peppermint Mocha (a limited edition holiday aromatic). We wanted to bright it up with some nice streaks of Virginia as well as to tone down the peppermint a notch with some marshmallow. There isn’t much difference between this version and the regular version of the product nor we claim this is better. This is just how we like it.

Due to the potency of the toppings, you won’t notice more than a very slight nuttiness from the dark burley, and light grass from the Virginia. The black cavendish is there to help meld the toppings to the tobaccos. The Virginia is topped with marshmallow, which tones down the peppermint a couple of notches, though its not a forceful presence. The peppermint dominates the proceedings while the chocolate provides a little assistance. The vanilla is evident in the side stream. Has very little nicotine. Won’t bite or get harsh. Has no roughness. Burns cool and clean at a moderate pace with a very consistent flavor that extends to the lingering after taste. The room note is pleasant. Leaves little dampness in the bowl. Requires a couple more than an average number of relights. Not an all day smoke.
