Only the finest ingredients are used for this tobacco. Black Cavendish, Virginia Flake, Broken Dark Virginia, Virginia, and Burley in a stylish mixed blend with the aroma of maraschino cherry, a hint of cocoa, a little pistachio, and pink pepper.
I did not like this right off the bat. The initial smell is like a bag of cheap potpourri from Wamart. Pretty tacky and awful. First few puffs... no cherry, no cocoa or chocolate, no pistachio. Just weird potpourri spices. I hated it. But... as it progresses, things started to settle down a bit. And there is a slight cherry/chocolate/nutty flavor that starts to come out. Things mellow out a bit, and it's actually not so bad after a while.
Bottom Line: Not really my thing... but after you get past the initial weird smell... it's not terrible.
It's hard to notice some of its flavours (pistachio and pink pepper?!) but it works as a whole. Feels like a needlessly luxurious version of Amphora SR no.2, just three times more expensive, hence the 2 stars. Not available anymore.
