Came dry, had to rehydrate it a bit. Comes as a ribbon cut with mostly dark brown and black leaves.
Tin note and taste: Lots of nuts, hazelnuts, cashew, almonds, cocoa, dark chocolate, roasted coffee, earthy, woody, spicy, smoky. Also has a bit of a cigar taste.
If you leave it in the pipe for 10-15 minutes, when you return you’ll find a stronger, spicier version of what I just described above. It actually gave me hiccups, a sour throat and a spiced tongue.
Delivers a cool smoke, doesn’t bite, doesn’t get hot, but it is harsh.

Comes dry from the tin, but not too dry. The ribbon cut is easy to handle.
The smoke is rich, cool and delicious. Very nutty, earthy, a bit smoky and little sweet. Lots of natural herby/floral taste and some cigar notes. I love this stuff. Smoke straight, from a small bowl after dinner. I ordered the baccy for mixing, but had no chance to do that. It was too good. Must order more.
