The burleys provide a wealth of sweet and toasted nuts, earth, wood, some sugar, a couple of pinches of spice, and a slight molasses note. Has an extremely mild sugary honey topping. The strength and nic-hit are a step past the center of mild to medium. The taste is medium. Won’t bite. You may experience a light harshness if you puff like an engine on steroids. Has some rugged, savory roughness. Burns very clean and fairly cool with a very consistent flavor that extends to the lightly lingering, pleasant after taste. Leaves little dampness in the bowl. Requires an average number of relights. Can be an all day smoke and a mixer as well. Three and a half stars.
