The sweet Maryland burley offers earth, wood, plenty of nuts, some toast, light molasses, and sugar. The strength and nic-hit are a couple of steps past the mild mark. The taste is a slot past the center of mild to medium. Won’t bite or get harsh, and has very few rough edges. Burns cool, clean and a tad fast with a very consistent flavor from start to finish. Barely leaves any dampness in the bowl. Requires few relights. Has a short lived, pleasant after taste, and room note. Although designed to be a blending component, it does well on its own as an all day smoke.
