Mild | Medium | Mild to Medium | Very Pleasant |
The burley is nutty, earthy, woody, and mildly molasses sweet as the lead component. The very tart and tangy citrusy, grassy Virginia is a supporting player. The unsweetened black cavendish provides some smoothing sugar in the third slot. The vanilla is a little more obvious than the honey, nougat and chocolate toppings. The molasses is far in the background. The toppings moderately sublimate the tobaccos. The strength and nicotine levels are mild. The taste level is a couple of steps past that. It will not bite or get harsh, and barely has a rough edge. Burns cool and clean at a reasonable pace with a very consistent sweetness that translates to the short lived, pleasant after taste, and room note. Leaves a little moisture in the bowl, and requires an average number of relights. An all day, comfortable smoke.
