Juicy Fruit gum in tobacco form!

Not an overpowering aromatic with a nice, soft flavor for those who enjoy this type of tobacco. Another quality tobacco from one of the world's finest blenders. But.......

I prefer the gum.

I am not sure if the other reviewers were actually smoking the reiner blend, as they mention a cornucopia of flavors that this blend absolutely does not have. There is zero fruit whatsoever in this blend. It says on the tin lid "choco-nut" flavored, and if it has either of those, it is so lightly applied as to be almost undetectable.

What this blend really entails is an amplification of what has to be some of the most inviting burley I have ever seen, which is a very rich reddish brown color. It has some black cavendish also which really rounds this blend off, but has no vanilla in it.

You get a plain and simple danish style aromatic which tastes, and smells, of simple sweet tobacco. It even has a little nicotine! It is one of the best aromatic blends I have tried, tasting of rich burley, not the earthy bitter type, but a specially processed delight.

This is by far my favorite reiner blend, and one of my favorite aromatics. I am surprised it is not more well known, as this blend has been available for many years. The blend is bite free in a well broken in pipe, but can barely, and I mean barely, nip if you smoke it in a fresh pipe with no cake built.

The room note is one of the top 5 that I know of, because it has none of the usual acrid tobacco notes even many aromatics produce.

Has all the tastes and scents of the forest in autumn, and is a top notch indoor smoke.

A solid 4 star blend. R. L. Will's two best aromatics are this blend, and Sillem's Musketeer, in my humble opinion.
Pipe Used: Cob, various italian.
Age When Smoked: Unknown

I generally dislike ALL aromatics. The boutique versions never taste like what they smell, seldom taste of what they are, often have strange 'whangs' often I taste clay instead of cherry and so on. Every blue moon I may want an aromatic, and I have found the one! Reiner is pricey. I tried it hoping for a greater quality. This is a mild, nutty tobacco that is emphasized (not masked) with a rum raisin 'fruityness' that is really a good pick for Va/English type smokers who want an ocassional aromatic. An aromatic smoker may be disapointed as it isn't candylike. Just too expensive

A gentle aromatic. Burley and Virginia take the foreground with a mild cavendish backdrop. I tend to favour mild aromatics, and this is a winner. Neither cloying nor extreme in sweetness, but nonetheless a flavourful casing with hints of rum and raisins. Smokes dry and offers a satisfying smoke. I tried a sample and will definitely buy a tin sometime in future. Recommended for those who don't like their tobacoo to taste like candy, but do like to go the along aromatic vein.

The reason I bought this one is because the tin looks nice. No one is this novelty shop knows what lies inside. The tin opens like a Del Monte canned apricote. But nevertheless, the ribbbon cut inside remains dry to the touch. It is easy to pack easy to light. This is a pure fruit aromatic. There is no way you can taste any tobacco flavors. I do not regret on getting it at all. I like to keep a collection of fresh fruits anyway. And hey the tin design is still very nice to look at.
