The gold Virginia provides a fair amount of grass, some citrus, and a couple drops of honey as the lead component. The nutty, woody, earthy, lightly molasses sweet burley offers a little support. The dark rums are sweet with a touch of spice, and tone down the tobaccos to a moderate extent, though they could use a little more depth. The strength and taste levels are mild. Barely has any nicotine. Won’t bite. Burns a tad warm, but clean at a reasonable pace with a very consistent flavor from top to bottom. Leaves a little moisture in the bowl, and requires an average number of relights. Has a pleasant, short lived after taste and room note. An all day smoke. Two and a half stars.
