I purchased this tobacco because I liked the tin art and because I was interested in the write up provided by the manufacturer. Upon opening the tin, I found a very pleasant well behaved burly. No aggresive aroma to bombard the senses. The paper inside the the tin is not stained or discolored. The tobacco is kind of ribbony, smells like tobacco ought to smell and the topping is a mild cocoa. It is not wet or even damp. Dry and springy to the touch. It reminds me of SWR regular, although to my palette it tastes better. Good burly taste, tobacowy tasting. Good nutty flavor. The topping enhances the experience. The cocoa is there but muted in the background. IMHO,this is a quintessential all day smoke. Doesn't bite. Doesn't scream for attention. Room note is pleasant. No aftertaste. Smoked two full bowls and the pipe remained dry. Perfect for puttering around ,going for a walk or for me, sitting on the deck with a good book. Won't be a favorite gotta have it tobacco, but if you like burly, it'll be a very nice companion of an afternoon. Not much nicotine. Smoked in a beloved Boswell noseburner and a Neerup. I liked it. Plan to buy more and keep it in my tobacco rotation

I really like this blend. I can ditto everything the first reviewer has noted. I am a fan of Norman Rockwell and recently saw a picture of him smoking a Dunhill. I imagine he smoked an easy going all day Burley blend and I too live the tin art. This tobacco fills that bill. I normally smoke VaPers, VA flakes, and VA/Burley blends, such as Amphora. As a rule I avoid aromatic blends. But the Coco used here is high quality and deftly applied. It's pleasantly present throughout the smoke. This blend has been a pleasant surprise and I will order more.

Bought this when it was first released in April 2019 for the tin art. Got two of them and drop them in the cellar. I'm not much of a aromatic smoker, so I wasn't in a hurry to try it. Well I finally got around to opening one and jarred it. To look at it it seems to be one tobacco. Looked it and was surprised to see it's a Virginia Burley mix. The topping smells like coco to me. It packed well and easy to light. Mild taste with a hint of coco. I found it enjoyable and good room note for others. Not something I will have often but not bad. Recommend for aromatic lovers.

Tin note of mild tart fruit, mild cocoa and wood. Tobacco orange- brown ribbon is mostly dry, no prep or drying needed. Burns moderately with few relights. The strength is mild to medium and nic is mild. Flavoring is mild, with notes of Licorice, mild cocoa and a mild orange liquor background note. Taste is mild to medium and consistent, with notes of roasted nuts, lemon zesty, sweet grass, wood, mild earth, mild spices, and moderately peppery retro. Virginias is barely edging out Burley for the lead, flavoring is supporting. Room note is pleasant, and aftertaste is good.
