Schrauf Nr. 218 Whisky
(4.00)
A treasure in fragrance and taste. Best Virginia grades ripen in wooden vats mixed with bourbon whiskey. Precious spices refine the deep black mixture, which achieves a wonderful mildness.

So... a new tobacco now... lightly flavoured as they told me... and it was very... very interesting.
The Smell was quiet difficult to explain. I smelled some kind of sweetness and some fruits.... In the shop they told me about Whiskey and vanilla... Keeping that in mind you are able to detect a bit of vanilla...
For I am not an expert for the smell of pure tobaccos I possibly missinterpreted the natural smell of it as flavouring... Who knows.
Speaking of the taste i can say that ist really ligth flavoured... you can feel the tobacco almost all the time but in the end it starts getting a bit sweeter... there is this light taste of vanilla...
In the beginning - the first few whiffs - there was a little note of biterness in it. But as soon I wanted to try to examine it, it was gone already..
One can say that this it is a rich tobacco with a main focus in umami taste. Besides that there are significant earthy, roasted and a smokey taste in that. Also there are light nutty, grassy and a minimal sweet note in it.
To put it in a nutell:
it is a very neat tobacco which smells really good, but if you smoke it, it is a totally other thing to me...
I like the taste of it and spent about an hour on this bowl. Sitting there, drinking an applejuice.
