The sugary black cavendish is the lead component. The nutty, earthy, lightly woody, molasses sweet burley is just above being a condiment. I sense a little grass and citrus, which indicates a Virginia is present. If so, it was processed in the cavendish style. This blend is mostly black with a little dark brown tobacco. The topping appears to be rum and light fruit, and sports a lightly distracting alcohol note. They tone down the varietals quite a bit. The strength just passes the mild threshold, while the taste is in the center of mild to medium. The nic-hit is very mild. Won’t bite or get harsh. Burns cool and clean at a reasonable pace with a very consistent flavor. Leaves little moisture in the bowl, and requires an average number of relights. Has a very pleasant after taste and room note. An all day smoke. Two and half stars.
