Bought this as Finamore Chocolate solely.. And it tastes like fruit/floral... Not the first time I get the impression that the Finamore company doesn't care at all for their blends... Well the tobacco is somokeable but worse than Irlandez or even cisne branco. It smells and tastes like yogurt mixed with some old book or leather notes. Could be good, but it's not.

I can say to you after smoking several national Brazillian tobacco blends and brands that absolutely everything from Finamore is the same. The burn is the same (pretty good, maybe 2-3 re-lights depending on what flame you're using [zippo lighter on my case]) the absolute lack of flavor and an aroma that is only really noticeable when you open the pack is also the same.

What really kills their tobacco for me atleast is the cut (really and i do mean really small ribbons), the very mild ammount of nicotine and the non existence of flavor where, maybe atleast some, should be.

Aroma is mild, yet pleasant and one of the few things this tobacco has in its favor. If you just started, its a good gripping point for pipe smoking, since it has close to none tobacco flavor and gives minimal tongue bite, if not, go get yourself a good Cândido Giovanella if you like good tasting, sweet smelling aromatics.

An honest national tobacco. Which can be purchased in bulk at Tabasco Paromas of Porto Alegre / RS. I recommend it to anyone who likes aromatics in large quantities.

It is a smoke with a good burn, but as it is very small, the tobacco ends up burning a little faster with dense smoke (whitish), little burning on the tongue or almost nothing on the nose.
For the price, it's an entry-level tobacco that helps you look for other "gourmet" tobaccos.

This is what we have in Brazil as an average drugstore tobacco. This is a really well known brand that makes pipe tobacco for ages. Probably the same recipe my great-grandfather used to smoke. There´s nothing special in there, just the fact that is a easy-cheap option to fill your pipe with some smokable thing. For the price it costs, couldn´t be any better.

The biggest difference between the "chocolate" and "chocolate alpino" is the casing amount. Here the quantity is far exagerated and tastes too chemical.
