The flue cured Virginias provide a burst of tart and tangy citrus, grass, sugar, a little wood, earth and bread along with a touch of tangy dark fruit, tart lemon, spice and floral notes. They are the lead components. The air cured burleys offer a lot of wood, earth, nuts, toast, a little sugary molasses, a pinch of spice, and a small sharp, rough note as strong, competitive supporting players. The deep fruity toppings are citrusy and tropical. They are a little more obvious than the creamy coffee, and lightly applied vanilla. The toppings moderately sublimate the tobaccos, and have no artificial aspects to them. The strength almost reaches the medium mark, while taste level is medium. The nic-hit is just past the center of mild to medium. No chance of bite or harshness. Well balanced, it burns cool and clean at a reasonable pace with a very consistent, deeply rich tart and tangy, mildly creamy, mostly smooth, sweet flavor that translates to the lightly lingering, pleasant after taste and room note. Leaves little moisture in the bowl, and requires an average number of relights. Can be all day smoke. Three and a half stars out of four.
