Magne Falkum MF 20th Century
(2.00)
With care fermented Virginias of finest proveniences, burley and a whiff of Syrian latakia, composed with plenty of perique. The tobacco matures under high pressure for a long time and is afterwards cuts into a flake.
Spicy, smoky taste for the connoisseur. A rich, classy pipe tobacco.
Notes: Blended for the 60-years anniversary (1949-2009) of Tabakhaus Falkum.

Got this as a sample to my order... the sample - just as the other 2 samples - is bone dry, close to being unsmokeable... but could be rehydrated...
This is rather a Va/Per blend than an English one. Pleasant, fruity and sweet aroma from the Virginia and Perique, with some decent peppery spice. The Burley contributes some body and minor nutty and earthy notes, whilst the Latakia is pretty much unnoticeable as such. Some wine-like aroma, pleasant spice, but virtually no smokiness to be perceived.
Still it has some variety and keeps one entertained, yet I'd say this is more for the Va/Per lover. Solid smoke, but nothing fancy,
