Cornell & Diehl - Gillingham Mixture.
It includes some fairly coarse pieces, the darker they are in colour the coarser they are. Some of the brighter Virginias could be called Shag, they're much finer. The pouch exudes a sweet, honey, aroma. It feels a little tacky but not 'wet'.
The smokes prominence goes to the black Cav', fruity Virginias, and Burley. The Burley: at first, like the Perique, seems an exorbitantly delicate addition, but the flavour from it develops quickly, and by a quarter the Burley's overtaken the Virginia, equalling the black Cav' in weight. The mildest tobacco's easily the Perique: I get a faint note of vinegar but very little spice, or idiosyncratic flavours. The honey's a mild, but definite, addition, smoothing and sweetening the entire bowl. Gillingham burns nicely: cool, unwavering, needing little maintenance.
Nicotine: mild to medium. Room-note: pleasant.
Gillingham? In no way is this a poor quality blend, it's a pleasant smoke, but it falls into the category of 'boring blends' to me:
Somewhat recommended.

I assume when the description says "rustic mixture" that explains the huge chunks of cavendish? I spent a few minutes chopping up the chunks of cavendish to make packing/lighting/smoking easier.
Pouch appearance (besides the large chunks of BC, show thin ribbons of Virginia and Perique, large chunks of burley and thin Orientals. Moisture is about what most cased aromatics are. Does not alter burn at all.
Pouch reminds me of classic Red Man leaf tobacco, with a honey top note. The honey is most discernable.
Packing has some spring to it, and as long as the large chunks are broken up, no problems to be had.
Initial lighting brings forth a prominent floral taste and aroma, which I assume comes from the Orientals. The sweetness of the honey softens the usual rough/harsh C&D burley. The Perique I cannot really find most of the time smoking this.
To me, this is a good springtime morning blend to smoke with your coffee. Perfect blend to have before breakfast on an empty stomach. The room note is pleasant, so its well suited for indoor smoking. I'm at 2.5 stars

I can only recommend this blend to the newest of smokers, and admittedly that is a dicey call on my part. It is a honey cased VAPer and about 50% black cavendish. The cavendish comes in large chunks. One particular piece that came in my bag was at least 4x2 inches when fully unfolded. The pouch note is all about honey, raisin, and prunes. This blend burns surprisingly dry and few relights were required. Unfortunately, this tobacco is mild to a fault. I cannot give the reader a description of the flavor profile because this was nearly tasteless. I’m completely serious, this was like a ghost smoke. It will not bite, but some fatigue is possible if you go chuffing away chasing some flavor, ANY flavor. Mild in nicotine.
There is nothing offensive about this blend, but it is mind numbingly boring.

Tin note: maybe cocoa. Smoke: slightly bitter (dissipated quickly), grassy Virginia, maybe slight honey. Very mild taste, which lasts well into the bowl. I believe I detect some cocoa further in, maybe some raisin. Maybe the slightest bit of perique character. I was on the fence, but I think I like this, as an option for a nice light smoke with VA characteristics and a satisfactory, enduring sweetness. May decrease the rating after I see how often I reach for it, but I'm putting it on the rack for regular rotation.
