Mac Baren The Blending Box

Notes: Inside the tin there are four tobaccos separated by dividers. The Blend Box gave pipe smokers the option to create their own blends, either by the smoker's own whims or following a suggested recipes on the side of the tin. One reads "A fragrant pipeful for the Burley minded," the other "A fine blend for a mild mixture," each followed by the suggested ratios. Individual tins of each ingredient were also sold separately as Mac Baren's Supplement to the Blending Box Burley, Virginia, Cavendish, or Cut Plug.
