The nutty, earthy, lightly woody burley also has a hint of molasses as the lead component. The grassy, lightly citrusy Virginia cavendish is a supporting player. The cognac topping is mildly applied, and tones down the tobaccos a little, though it lacks depth. The nic-hit is very mild. The strength is mild while the taste is just a step past that mark. Sipped slowly, it can tingle the tongue. Puffed any faster, you’ll risk tongue bite. Burns a little fast and warm with a mildly sweet and consistent flavor. Leaves little dampness in the bowl, and requires an average number of relights. Has a pleasant, short lived after taste. An all day smoke. I’d rate this two stars, but the bite really can’t be avoided, so one star it is.
