Peter Heinrichs Reserve Crûe No. 10
(3.00)
Translated from the German website: Sun-ripened, natural sweet Virginas and velvety soft black cavendish are composed with a very harmonic fruit potpourri from extracts of wild-berries, cherries and apples to create an aromatic and tongue friendly mixture. Pressed under heat and pressure, processed into flakes - in elaborate manual work.

First off: This is Plantas Empire Virginia (formerly Empire Aromatic) annd vice versa, Planta produces this for Peter Heinrichs and glues another labeln on the tin.
An well made tobacco, but sadly it can be a bit t bity to me and also other told me, that they find this one a bit biting! The tobacco came way too dry in the tin and all flakes crumbled apart. I couldnt get 1 slice of a flake out without it falling in pieces - sad, must've grabbed a poorly packed/sealed tin. But you could re-moisten it well.
Tin note is deliciously and natural fruit-potpourri-like. Not artificial at all, very well flavoured imho. Once lit it burns good, due to its low moisture level.
The taste is pleasant, and the citrusy, refreshing and swee Virginas do well with the flavouring. The Cavendish is a bit toasty with some vanilla-ish note to it. Not much of complexity, just a solid Virginia with a natural, delicate flavouring on top. Goodfor transition from aromatics to more natural tobaccos, or as a sweet-treat for Virginias lovers.
3/4 stars, pretty solid and well done, not my cup of tea anymore personally , but when I smoked my tin as I began to smoke the pipe this was a pleasant introduction to more natural tobaccos and the flake cut.
