Gawith Hoggarth & Co. - Brown Twist Coffee Caramel.
Just like their Brown Irish Twist it's a very thick rope of tobacco. Not a coil, but just one straight length. The moisture's good from BTCC, so once sliced it can be smoked immediately. Even though it can be crumbled by hand once it's been cut into coins, I opt to give them a quick blitz in my coffee grinder.
I have to admit of all aromatic flavours coffee and caramel are pretty high up, to me. This hits the spot! I suppose it's a little similar to their Coffee Caramel ready rubbed in added flavour, but not quite as heavy. Where as the Coffee Caramel ready rubbed leaves virtually no room for the tobaccos in the flavour profile, this has a fairly pungent Virginia flavour as well.
The room-note's a bit heavy, and the nicotine's strong.
Because of a few feature's I can't give this full marks, but I think it's worth a recommendation nevertheless.
Three stars.
