The Country Squire Tobacconist Lowland Pine

(3.00)
A complex blend of burley, Virginias, and latakia with a touch of cavendish. This blend features burley leaves that have been patiently aged in house, imparting a unique note of pine or cedar. This distinct flavor coupled with a gentle hint of latakia will have you caught up in thoughts of campfires and woodland hikes.
Notes: Blended by Caleb the Intern. This is the blend that was discussed on the November 9, 2016 episode of Country Squire Radio.

I found Lowland Pine to be very complex.

The burley comes through strong and gives a foundation which reminds me of pine or maybe cedar. Nutty like pinenuts.

The latakia compliments and doesn't take over. It gives a good smoky flavor which I really enjoy without becoming a latbomb.

I have really enjoyed smoking this while enjoying a nice scotch on the rocks.
