G. L. Pease Bilbo's Blend

Just below Trail Crest at 12,500 ft. on California's Mt Whitney, two small wooden barrels, marked simply "Baggins 111 Birthday" were found nestled amongst some large boulders. Analysis revealed then to contain rare pipe weed (Latakia, Orientals and Virginias form middle earth) in remarkable condition. Clearly these came from the stash of Bilbo Baggins of the Shire. Their delightful contents, carefully measured, was just enough to produce 175 2 oz tins for NASPC's 15th Anniversary!
