Lane Limited's Macanudo is a nice mild aromatic. A relatively simple blend profile of virginias. For me, this is a tobacco for when I don't want to concentrate on the flavors. I also found that it smokes better with a little drying time.

Lane Limited - Macanudo.
From the name I'd expect a cigar leaf blend, but this couldn't be any less like a Macanudo cigar.
There's a lesser amount of black Cavendish compared to brown Cav' and Virginia. It's presented as medium sized ribbons, and smells quite strongly of vanilla.
The flavour from Maca' is relatively straightforward: the vanilla comes across clearly, although not sticky. The initial tobacco flavour's a sweet aromatic one, but after a short while I begin to get more of a fruitier Virginia flavour, instead of the sweet aromatic one alone. A bowl burns well, not requiring re-lights unless left unattended. Temperature: cool.
Nicotine: mild. Room-note: very pleasant.
It's a good smoke, easily one that deserves three stars, but without that 'spark' to receive four:
Recommended.

The Virginias and brown cavendish are grassy with some citrus, and a light darker fruit and earth notes. The brown sugary black cavendish provides a smooth sweetness as a supporting player. The vanilla tones down the tobaccos a little, but you’ll certainly notice them as the vanilla lacks some richness. The strength and taste levels are mild. Barely has any nicotine. Won’t bite or get harsh. Burns cool and clean at a reasonable pace with a little inconsistency in flavor as the topping does weaken a mite in the last third of the experience. Leaves little moisture in the bowl, and needs an average number of relights. Has a pleasant, short lived after taste and room note. An all day smoke.
