The main components are the Virginias, which offer dark fruit, citrus, some earth and grass with a slight floral note. The unsweetened black cavendish adds a smooth brown sugariness. There are hints of nutty, toasted burley as well. The toppings are hard to define, but I get citrus and fruit with plum being one of the flavorings. I also get a sense of molasses. There is a light alcohol feel to the toppings, which sublimates the tobaccos a fair amount. The strength and taste levels are little closer to medium than they are to mild. The nic-hit is a step past being mild. Won’t bite or get harsh, but does burn a little warm if you are a fast puffer. Burns a little slow and mostly cool with smoothly sweet consistent taste. Leaves a little moisture in the bowl, but no dottle. Requires a number of relights. Has a very pleasant after taste and sweet, floral room note, both of which linger a little. Two and a half stars.
