The Virginia has a light citrus aspect along with a fair amount of grass and hay. The apple topping is light, doesn't tone down the tobacco much, and weakens in the last third of the experience. Has a mild nic-hit. Won't bite, but will burn warm if puffed fast, and you may get a harsh note unless smoked slowly. Burns clean, and a little fast. Leaves little moisture in the bowl, and needs just less than an average number of relights. Has a short lived, routine after taste. An all day smoke.
There's only a very slight apple flavour, I wouldn't call it particularly 'potent'! The tobacco flavour's like any of the others in the Kendal Gold series: grassy Virginia. Although the topping's not heavy something that isn't conducive with a lightly added flavour's the bite: it can give me a bit of a nip. The nicotine's pretty mild from Kendal Gold Apple and the room-note's extremely light.
I'd say this is an okay blend, albeit quite boring after half a bowl.
