Rosebud is very similar to the Hermit Limited Edition blend, XV2, in that it is made with both Syrian and Cyprian Latakia. But, rather than deep pressing for months, this one was hand blended and stoved in before pressing into one pound cakes. The result was an extremely mellow blend that carries no bite. And the flavor, while unrelenting in presentation, does not overwhelm the palate. A velvety smooth English compilation worth exploring.

This is a smooth blend of several different top-shelf tobaccos. It includes both types of latakia and also a touch of rose-scented snuff.
It does well in any pipe and does best when smoked slowly to savor it.
