Tor Tor Turkish Budget Shag
(3.00)
Tor Turkish is a new blend introduced in the UK with the idea of cutting cost for the consumer without compromising quality. The name suggests the inclusion of Turkish, but this isn't the case, instead we have a finely cut, slow burning, Virginia shag.

Tor - Tor Turkish Budget Shag.
This one's another from the selection of strictly 'Budget' tobacco's I bought, and like some of the others, it's a better smoke than I expected.
Okay, if you enjoy deep Balkan's, strong VaPer's, or even Aromatic's, this will bore you senseless. But, if you require a good 'Working Tobacco', this would be great....... I think!
There isn't really loads to be said, due to the basic attributes it would require 'manufacturing' words if I were to want to write a long review.
The basics are thus: it's a medium brown, mid-sized shag, with a few lightly coloured flecks in there too. As it's loosely packaged it's been able to breath a little, and that's made the hydration just right. Then it's easily lit, the burn's even, and the smoke's fairly cool. The flavour? Again, this is a basic review point, it's a simple Virginia one: a bit grass-like, with some hay, but it only has a little citrus sharpness to it. And finally we have the note: a simple Virginia one.
For what it is, a budget blend, it deserves three stars.
Recommended.
