Playful mixture with a wide range of color tones and cuts (from cream color leafs to black, you can find flake remains and also small ribons). In the tin it smells sweet, with fruit and floral notes.

Before I continue, I have to disclaim that I am a fan of Kentucky Bird mixture. I suppose that´s why this blend catched my eye, as it is described with "roses and vainilla flavors". I suppose the floral notes in the unlit tobacco could relate to roses, but It´s not quite clear. Now, once the pipe is smoked, no floral nor rosy flavor is detected whatsoever.

What this mixture offers is a high quality cavendish over a viginia base. And eventhough it is a clearly aromatic tobacco, any casing is wisely used. You can taste a sweetness from the flavoring, but also the natural taste of a good virginia.

This is a very good tobacco for the aromatic smokers that want to try a non-syrupy blend. The "roses and vainilla" translate in not those actual flavors, but in a very nice sweetness.
Pipe Used: Peterson Tankard, Nording Churchwarden
