Gawith Hoggarth - Kendal Mixed Coconut (medium).
Some tobaccos 'just work'. That's the situation with KMCM: it just works!
The Coconut comes through quite clearly in the smoke, but due to the nature of Coconut it's neither gloopy nor sticky; it goes well with the Burley's natural nut quality.
The Virginia provides more of a base for the flavours of the Coconut and Burley. I can taste it, but I only get a little in the way of grass and citrus qualities from it.
The nicotine would probably suit most folks as a mid morning smoke: medium.
This is a good little smoke: aromatic enough for it to qualify as being one, yet not too much so as to be considered an 'after dinner smoke'.
Pipe Used: Frederick Tranter Poker
Age When Smoked: New
