Indigenous tobacco, BURRUS BLEU is like its brother Burrus Jaune. A real natural tobacco. It is produced in Denmark for the swiss market and it is a very cheap and popular tobacco. Pure Burley without any flavoring and without any topping. It is composed with a part of air-cured Burley and a part of sun-cured Burley and then it is slightly fermented. If you like straight Burley this is for you. Compared with Burrus Jaune this one is better for your own mixtures, it is perfect for blending, even if you can smoke it straight. The other one (Burrus Jaune) is better for smoking straight. I bought it in Switzerland at Tabaccheria Dubini in Chiasso, but it is possible to order it online (www. dubini.ch). The owner, Mrs Monica Dubini, is very willing and she is very kind and pleasant. Her tobacco store is well-furnished and you can find a wide range of tobaccos. In my personal rating (from 1 to 10) my score is 8 and three stars.
Burrus Bleu is a natural tobacco. Just burley with no flavoring. The cut is quite thin so it is burning quite fast. The aroma is simple and good, but not really intense. It is not strong and it is fresh and reasonably tasty. Although it is not strong, nicotine is present and visible. It is extremely cheap, at least in Chiasso where I bought it. 40 grams are less than 5 €. The overall quality is good but after some time it can be tiring. However considering the price it deserves a 3/4 ranking.
It is a very good tobacco.naturelle without aromas added and with a lot of body. Its taste of nuts is really very pleasant.On to really feel the smoking of the true tobacco not of fake with tastes to add or with many additives. It reminds me of the tobacco of the old times.
