Dunhill - A22000 (Cavendish Blend).

As you can see from the current picture, a lot of the Cavendish is black, it's more of a coarse cut/ribbon than a broken flake, and arrives too damp. I couldn't remember if this was an aro' or natural blend, but the pouch note dealt with that: strong.

It needs quite some drying time, otherwise the smoke's no good, mechanically. The flavour would probably be enjoyed by a few, but I don't really like it. For the first quarter the fruit domineers, easily. But it isn't too pleasant, it has a lot of sourness and little actual flavour. After a short while the sourness settles and some of the tobacco flavour comes through; the Burley, although looked to be added in a lesser amount, is easy to recognise. For me, the topping still presents a problem, though; even though it isn't as sour, it becomes too tart. A positive? The burn: cool, even, and consistent.

The nicotine's mild, and the room-note's nice enough; good for any non-smoking note-haters!

This isn't my idea of a good aromatic, not so bad it can only have one star, but definitely worth no more than two.

Somewhat recommended.

Got my first of this in the mail today. What a wonderful tobacco, all the way to the bottom of the bowl. No bite, sweet and flavoured tobacco taste. And the smell from the bag, my oh my!🤗
