Long time cigar smoker and newer pipe smoker, I have spent the better part of the last decade attempting to try everything at Iwan Ries with little success but not for effort but because the selection is enormous. I spend my evenings during the week at late night therapy sessions in the Front Room that I have appropriately named Round Two. I am part of the reason the IRC enforces a closing time in their Front Room.

Because of this, my tastings usually occur in the evening after a long day at work and a few meals which I would imagine has an impact on my opinions. On the weekends I have an opportunity to taste tobaccos throughout the entire day and have noticed that my opinions vary accordingly.
